In a recent video message, communications director and publishing manager Bucky acknowledged that while the team has many ideas for the future of Palworld, the priority now is preparing the game to exit Early Access. “It’s no secret that Palworld has its share of quirks and rough edges,” he said, emphasizing the importance of dedicating time to polish and refine the experience. The cleanup process is set to begin this year, with the goal of officially launching Palworld in 2026.

As part of this transition, Bucky noted that updates will take a backseat for the remainder of the year. The upcoming winter update, for instance, won’t match the scale of February’s release, though players can still expect a few surprises. “We hope our community understands that this quieter period is about improving the game overall,” he said.

Despite the slower updates, development is not slowing down. In fact, Bucky described Palworld 1.0 as a major milestone, with a substantial amount of new content planned. Rather than rushing to meet deadlines, the team is focused on building a solid foundation that will support the game’s long-term success. “We’re genuinely excited about what’s coming,” Bucky added, promising sneak peeks of the game in the near future
