Resident Evil Requiem Coming to Switch 2 in February 2026

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Requiem is coming to Switch 2 on February 27, 2026, making it a simultaneous global release with the PS5 and Xbox Series.
It is launching alongside Switch 2 ports of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village.
All three titles will be fully playable offline and are not cloud-based versions, ensuring fans get the full horror experience natively on the Switch 2.
Resident Evil Requiem – A New Chapter in Raccoon City
Set in a hauntingly ruined Raccoon City, Resident Evil Requiem introduces players to Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst drawn into a chilling investigation when a mysterious body is found in the same hotel where her mother died eight years prior. As Grace uncovers the truth behind the outbreak that devastated Raccoon City, players will navigate a gripping narrative filled with psychological horror and pulse-pounding action.
The game features a dynamic gameplay system that allows players to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives in real time, adding a fresh layer of immersion to the survival horror formula.
Ethan Winters Returns
Alongside Requiem, Capcom is bringing back fan-favorite protagonist Ethan Winters in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition.
These critically acclaimed titles will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, offering players a chance to relive Ethan’s harrowing journey through grotesque landscapes and terrifying encounters.
