KIZUNA ENCOUNTER: SUPER TAG BATTLE Features
A Tag Team Classic Reborn
Originally released in arcades nearly three decades ago, KIZUNA ENCOUNTER: SUPER TAG BATTLE builds on the foundation of SAVAGE REIGN, bringing back eight returning fighters and introducing two new challengers: Rosa, a resistance leader, and Kim, a cane-wielding crusader. Players can also unlock boss characters King Leo and Jyazu for solo-member fights, adding even more variety to the roster.
The game’s signature 2-on-2 tag team format remains intact, now enhanced with seamless online play powered by rollback netcode. Players can join lobbies with up to nine participants, spectate matches, and compete in single- or double-elimination tournaments. For the first time, simultaneous 4-player battles, previously limited to select arcade cabinets, are now available online, allowing friends to tag in and compete together.

Modern Features for Competitive Play
KIZUNA ENCOUNTER introduces a revamped Practice Mode, which includes speed selectors, hitbox viewers, and customizable training settings to help players master combos and refine their technique.
Single-player content includes an integrated jukebox featuring the game’s soundtrack and a wide array of achievement challenges.
