The Nintendo Switch version is scheduled for release on December 4, 2025.
What’s New in Football Manager 26
Football Manager 26 introduces several major upgrades that redefine the management experience:
- Reimagined UI – The classic sidebar has been replaced with a streamlined top navigation bar, making it easier to access recruitment, tactics, and match-day prep. The new Portal hub centralizes news, results, and calendars, while the revamped search system and FMPedia provide one-click access to clubs, players, and guides.
- Women’s Football Debuts – For the first time in series history, FM26 includes 14 leagues across 11 countries and 3 continents, creating one of the largest women’s football databases ever. Motion-captured animations deliver authentic playstyles, seamlessly integrating men’s and women’s football into one shared world.
- Tactical Evolution – Managers can now set separate In Possession and Out of Possession formations, offering deeper control over player roles. The new Visualiser tool shows tactical layouts across defense, midfield, and attack, while assistant recommendations help newcomers ease into advanced systems.
