Honor of Kings has announced that it is adding a new hero, Lapulapu, in the International Edition starting November 21, 2025.

The game pays tribute to Filipino culture with the introduction of its first-ever localized Filipino hero, inspired by the national icon who stood against colonial forces.

Honor of Kings Lapulapu Details

Armed with a Kampilan sword powered by a vortex energy core and a Kalasag shield adorned with the legendary sea serpent Bakunawa, Lapulapu embodies courage, resilience, and Filipino heritage.

His attire reflects 14th–15th century Visayan traditions, featuring intricate sun, wave, and scale motifs that symbolize strength and nature worship.

Tank Support Built for Team Fights

Lapulapu enters the battlefield as a tank support hero with exceptional survivability and crowd control. His kit allows players to:

• Initiate battles with a powerful knock-up ultimate.
• Reposition quickly using long-range mobility.
• Shield allies during retreats and counterattacks.

Unlock Lapulapu for Free

From November 21–27, players can join the Lapulapu launch event to earn Lapu Coins by logging in, playing matches, and using new heroes. These coins can be exchanged for exclusive rewards, including unlocking Lapulapu himself. Players can also use Star Stones for a chance to draw Lapu Coins directly.
