SEGA has officially released the SpongeBob SquarePants Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, adding new racers, a themed course, and original music inspired by the beloved Nickelodeon series.

SpongeBob and Patrick Join Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

Players can now race as SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, driving the iconic Patty Wagon across the brand‑new Bikini Bottom course. To complete the experience, several original SpongeBob‑inspired tracks have been added to the in‑game Jukebox, including:

• Bikini Bottom: Intro
• Bikini Bottom: Final Lap
• SpongeBob SquarePants: Character Select
• SpongeBob SquarePants: Result

SpongeBob SquarePants Festival is Coming

To celebrate the DLC launch, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will host the SpongeBob SquarePants Festival from November 21–24, 2025 (UTC+8). Players can join one of three teams and compete in special challenges, such as performing Touch Boosts or completing unique objectives.

Festival Points earned during the event unlock exclusive rewards, including:

• Sea Dog Kit (Gadget)
• Legendary Fry Cook (Title)
• Festival‑exclusive Decals and Horns

Festival gadgets will be available in future updates, and alternative ways to obtain rewards may be introduced later.

Black Friday Deal

Alongside the crossover, SEGA is offering a 30% discount on the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Digital Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, starting November 21. This edition includes the base game and Season Pass, which includes crossover DLC like the SpongeBob SquarePants Pack.

Additionally, anyone who plays between November 21 and December 13, 2025 (UTC+8) will receive a free Sonic Adventure decal to customize their Machines.
