Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. has announced that its latest bloody action game, ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN, will launch on February 11, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

This marks the first brand-new IP from Goichi “Suda51” Suda and Grasshopper Manufacture in more than five years, blending the studio’s trademark ultra-violent action with a wholly original sci-fi narrative.

ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN – A Bloody Sci-Fi Adventure

Players take on the role of Romeo Stargazer, an FBI Space-Time special agent snatched from the brink of death by the mysterious mask known as DeadGear. As DeadMan, Romeo must hunt down the most wanted fugitives across the multiverse, armed with a deadly arsenal of guns and close-combat weapons.

But the mission isn’t just about survival. Romeo also faces the disappearance of his girlfriend, Juliet, while navigating a shattered space-time continuum filled with danger, chaos, and betrayal.

Suda51 on the Launch

Grasshopper Manufacture’s Executive Director, Scenario Writer, and Producer Goichi “Suda51” Suda shared his excitement:

“Now we’ve won our game of chicken against a certain twice-delayed 2026 release, we can reveal our cards and confirm we never intended to launch in May in the first place. We’re warping space-time to put the finishing touches to ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN ahead of its launch next February.”
