Use Your Rewards To Build A Roster of Players

In SEGA Football Club Champions 2026, there are numerous player draws that let you pull different players to beef up your team. Matching each ticket, you can draw from a range of categories that allow you to select different players. There are scouting tickets for Premier League draws and other tickets that allow you access to the Japanese League (J-League) draws as well.

Each character ranges from 1 to 3 stars, with 3 stars representing a high-level player on par with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. You can also tell the character’s rank by their shoes. Regular shoes are 1 star, Golden shoes are 2 stars, and Rainbow shoes are 3 stars.

There’s also a chance to get a player to hit a Limit Break where they go past their rank level stats. You’re also rewarded with a puzzle piece that will allow you to boost them later after training your character.

Right now, the game is giving out tickets as rewards, so you can get a great head start!

Select Team HQ

Once you have your players, you can now create your official FC in SEGA Football Club Champions 2026’s Career Mode. You can select from the prebuilt teams or create your own FC using Custom Team mode. First, you must select the FC’s HQ, which must be in a specific country.

Just like the player gacha, you can select teams from the J-League, Korean League, European League, and Southeast Asian League. You heard me correctly: there is a Southeast Asian League where you can select any country within a specific city.

Unfortunately, as of writing, SEGA Football Club Champions only has Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia available. Hopefully, we can see a Philippine FC available soon! It would be nice to get a homegrown custom team on this platform.

Adjust Team Roster and Sponsorships

Once you’ve selected your HQ, you can adjust your player allocation based on your payroll budget.

To receive your war chest, you will need to select from the list of sponsors that will support you through the season. Be mindful of what you choose; a sponsor allocating large sums will expect higher performance from your team. You can check the objectives, such as recruiting a specific player, winning a set number of games, or finishing at a certain rank. Select a realistic plan and a realistic budget.

From there, you can select specific players to add to your team total based on your gacha selections. Some players you get from the gacha have larger signing bonuses and higher salary caps depending on their talents. It’s best to bench declining players to replace them with new blood to make the team shine.

Select Season Date

The final consideration is the start date for your FC. Be mindful of when you start, as it affects the teams your FC will play, which can determine your overall position. Once you’re sure which date to start, you’re ready to go!
