Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has officially revealed Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes, set to release on April 24, 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation VR2 for PS5, Meta Quest 2 & 3, and PC VR via Meta Horizon Store and SteamVR.

Developed by Iconik, the game places players directly into the unsettling world of Little Nightmares through a full first-person VR experience. For the first time, players will embody Dark Six, a mysterious figure on a haunting quest to reunite with the missing part of herself.

Little Nightmares VR – A Dark New Perspective

In Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes, players will explore new locations, uncover fresh clues tied to Six’s story and the Transmission, and face terrifying encounters that challenge both enemies and Dark Six’s evolving nature. Each chapter introduces distinctive threats, puzzles, and eerie residents, all designed to take full advantage of VR mechanics.

The game is optimized for PSVR2, Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, Oculus Rift, Rift S, Pico 4, Valve Index, and HTC Vive, while remaining compatible with other supported PC VR headsets.

Gameplay & Lore Expansion

As Dark Six, players will navigate twisted environments filled with echoes of past events, whispers of hidden connections, and signs that her journey is part of something larger. The VR format amplifies the franchise’s signature atmosphere, pushing players to confront childhood fears in unsettling new ways.
