Kadokawa Corporation, Crunchyroll, Qzil.la, and ARCH have announced that Sekiro: No Defeat, the anime adaptation of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, will officially premiere in 2026.
The series will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide, excluding Japan, China, Korea, Russia, and Belarus. In Japan, fans can look forward to a nationwide theatrical release, making it a major multimedia expansion for FromSoftware’s acclaimed action title.
Returning Voice Cast
Several original voice actors from the game are reprising their roles, including:
- Daisuke Namikawa as Wolf
- Miyuki Satou as Kuro, the Divine Heir
- Kenjiro Tsuda as Genichiro Ashina

A new trailer has revealed that the anime’s theme song will be “Blu” by Ryuichi Sakamoto, originally featured on his 2015 album The Best of ‘Playing the Orchestra 2014’. This marks a prestigious musical addition to the adaptation.
