SEGA has revealed that Shinobi: Art of Vengeance will receive the SEGA Villains Stage DLC on April 3, 2026, bringing iconic bosses from across the company’s legendary franchises into the ninja action-platformer.

An animated trailer has also been released, showcasing the crossover villains Goro Majima (Like a Dragon/Yakuza), Death Adder (Golden Axe), and Dr. Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog).

What’s Inside the Shinobi SEGA Villains Stage DLC

Players will face off against SEGA’s most notorious antagonists across new stages and modes. The DLC includes:

• 5 crossover stages
• 3 bosses: Goro Majima, Death Adder, Dr. Eggman
• 2 Boss Rush modes
• 3 new Ninpo abilities
• 3 outfits
• 6 new music tracks

The DLC is bundled with the Digital Deluxe Edition or available via the Digital Deluxe Upgrade. Access unlocks after completing the fourth zone of the base game.

Free Update Launching Alongside DLC

SEGA is also rolling out a free update for all players, adding:

• Hardcore Mode with tougher enemy placements and stronger boss attacks
• Combat settings customization, including recovery frames, damage flash effects, and camera shake adjustments
• Quality-of-life improvements to enhance gameplay
