HoYoverse has officially announced that its upcoming cozy galactic life sim, Petit Planet, will launch a new closed beta test called the Stardrift Test starting April 21, 2026.

Available on PC, iOS, and Android, the test invites players to explore the Starsea, meet new Neighbors, and enjoy enriched community-driven experiences.

How to Join the Stardrift Test

Sign-ups for the closed beta are now live on the official Petit Planet website. Players who pre-register can claim exclusive rewards, while selected participants completing the sign-up survey will be invited to join the test.

Petit Planet – Life as a Planet Tender

In Petit Planet, players step into the role of a Planet Tender, caring for their own world while connecting with others to form galaxies. Activities include farming, fishing, cooking, and decorating, as well as heartfelt interactions with fuzzy Neighbors.

The upcoming test introduces new Neighbors, each with unique personalities and stories, as well as updates to the Starsea Voyage and expanded activities at the Galactic Bazaar. Expect vibrant islets to explore, social hubs for coffee and bonfires, fortune-telling, dancing, and even auctions.

Multiplayer and Community Vision

HoYoverse confirms Petit Planet for PC and mobile, with additional platforms in development.
