Daybreak Game Company, Cold Iron Studios, and 20th Century Games have officially unveiled Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. Launching this summer on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, and Epic Games Store, the game expands the fight to four‑player co‑op, dropping squads of hardened colonial marines into the most dangerous corners of the Aliens universe.
What begins as a rescue mission quickly spirals into a desperate fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. New threats like Pathogen horrors and Weyland‑Yutani combat synths add layers of chaos, forcing players to adapt on the fly.
New Classes and Customization
AFE2 introduces a fully customizable Specialist class, letting players craft unique roles to suit their squad. Deeper squad mechanics and a wide arsenal of weapons allow for mix‑and‑match strategies across classes.
Customization is at the heart of the sequel, with players able to tailor weapons, abilities, and classes to build the ultimate marine loadout. Challenge modes and expanded combat scenarios ensure replayability, with rewards and horrors lurking around every corner.
Honoring 40 Years of Aliens
“With Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, we’re doubling down on the action and the terror, delivering an experience worthy of the Alien franchise,” said Chris Cross, Game Director.
John Drake, GM of 20th Century Games, added: “We’re celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Aliens in 2026, and Fireteam Elite 2 honors that world. We can’t wait for squads to get their hands on this later this summer.”
