CD PROJEKT RED has officially announced Songs of the Past, the third expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The new adventure will once again place players in the boots of Geralt of Rivia, the legendary monster slayer, as he embarks on a fresh journey in the dark fantasy world.

The Witcher 3 Expansion Platforms and Release Window
Songs of the Past is set to launch in 2027 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. More details about the expansion will be shared in late summer 2026.
Collaboration with Fool’s Theory
The expansion is being co‑developed with Fool’s Theory, a studio made up of industry veterans who previously worked on The Witcher 3. This collaboration promises to deliver a faithful yet innovative continuation of Geralt’s saga.

New System Requirements
Additionally, with this new content, CD Projekt Red has announced new system requirements for both the base game and the new expansion.
Starting from the next update, the new minimum requirements are as follows:

- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB
- VRAM: 6 GB
