Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition will launch on August 28, 2026 for the Nintendo Switch 2, bringing the award‑winning open‑world action RPG to Nintendo’s next‑generation hardware.
The release brings both the base game and the massive Shadow of the Erdtree expansion to the platform, letting Switch players experience the Lands Between and the Realm of Shadow in one complete package.

ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition comes with the critically acclaimed Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which adds a full new storyline, terrifying bosses, new weapons, abilities, and armor sets.
Players will follow in the footsteps of Miquella, uncovering the darker side of the Elden Ring mythos as they explore the mysterious Realm of Shadow.

The Tarnished Edition also introduces brand‑new content, including:
