Originally set to launch July 23, the release is now scheduled for September 3, 2026, citing “unforeseen circumstances on a backend feature.” Pre‑orders remain active and unaffected.

The developers have released a statement, saying that they have been “forced” to delay the release.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances on a backend feature, we will now launch by Sept. 3. Existing pre-orders will remain active and will not be canceled.”

They have also mentioned that they remain committed to delivering the “best possible experience” on every platform.

Other Platforms Unaffected

The PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) versions will still launch on July 23, with a Switch 2 version planned later in 2026. Gameplay Group confirmed that cross‑play and localization beyond English will not be available at launch for Switch, but updates are planned.
