Located on the 6th floor of Shinsaibashi PARCO’s POP CULTURE SHINSAIBASHI, the store embodies SEGA’s transmedia strategy, expanding its IPs beyond games into film, music, and manga.
Following the success of SEGA STORE SHANGHAI (May 2025) and SEGA STORE TOKYO (July 2025), Osaka’s store will showcase SEGA’s 65‑year legacy with exclusive merchandise and immersive design, including adjustable lighting and a transparent double‑sided LED display.
Sonic Meets Osaka: #SonicExperiencesOsaka
Ahead of opening, SEGA is running a cultural campaign where Sonic explores Osaka:
- Aug 7 – Sonic × MOFLEM at Gamba Osaka’s J1 League opener.
- Aug 8 – Sonic joins Kansai TV’s mascot Hachiemon behind the scenes.
- Sept 18 – Sonic × Takoru‑kun at Osaka Castle Park’s YATAI Fes food stalls.
- Sept 25 – Sonic takes the stage at Yoshimoto Dotonbori Theater for an English‑language comedy night with YOSHIMOTO COMEDY NIGHT～Sitcom～
