HoYoverse has announced that Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” will officially go live on July 29, 2026.
The update celebrates the game’s second anniversary and the introduction of the first Lumiflux attribute Agent in this version, S-Rank Anomaly Agent Remielle Dan, along with S-Rank Ice Attack Agent Sigrid.
Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 New Agents and Story Content
Version 3.1 introduces Remielle Dan, the first Lumiflux attribute Agent whose Attribute Flux lets her synchronize damage output with squadmates, enabling flexible counterplay against enemy weaknesses. She can enter Phase Flow to buff allies off‑field and unleash devastating Assist Attacks via the Lumiflux‑exclusive reaction Refringe.
Joining her is Sigrid, the Airspace Patrol Department’s Deputy Director, wielding the Aerial Patrol Spear Form for high‑crit aerial combos. Reruns include Aria in the first half, while the second half’s Exclusive Rescreening channel lets Proxies choose from Dialyn, Ukinami Yuzuha, and Asaba Harumasa. A new S‑Rank Bangboo, Ariel, also debuts.
The main story “The Long Goodbye” reunites Proxies with Truvia, heiress of High Ambitions Corp, while Lindverne Sunbringer and Sigrid formally meet the Proxies. Remielle’s ties to the mysterious Enchainer deepen the narrative stakes.
Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 Gameplay Updates and Events
- Permanent Mode: Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel tasks players with rescuing Eous, gathering supplies, and investing in research stations for long‑term progression.
- Summer Event: Summer Waves Roll In features Lucy, Sigrid, and Remielle in beach adventures, rewarding Lucy’s free summer outfit.
- Outfits: Five new cosmetics, including Remielle’s bundle (Seashade Pas Seul + Moonlight Whispers) at a 30% discount.
System optimizations include Custom Search for S‑Rank pools, a revamped Beginner’s Guide, faster Inter‑Knot progression, and improved W‑Engine management.
Anniversary Rewards and Collabs
All Proxies can select one of five limited S‑Rank Agents (Jane, Soldier 0‑Anby, Hugo, Trigger, or Lucia) plus their exclusive W‑Engine. Rewards include 1,600 Polychromes and 20 pulls via events.
Collabs return with Operation Yum featuring Ellen and Manato, plus food partnerships with Kyuramen (US) and Haidilao (Singapore). Global exhibitions will showcase concept art and animation drafts.
