  • New Duelist class debuts with sword‑focused melee combat
  • Final two campaign Acts complete the story

Grinding Gear Games revealed that Path of Exile 2 will officially launch its 1.0 full release on December 11, 2026 (PST). The game will be fully free‑to‑play across PC, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic Games Store.

The announcement came alongside a new trailer showcasing the Duelist, a sword‑focused melee class that expands the roster of playable archetypes.

Duelist Class and Story Completion

Raised as an orphan in the slums and trained for vengeance in the Grand Arena, the Duelist now fights for those who cannot defend themselves. As the first sword‑wielding class in Path of Exile 2, he brings aggressive, adaptable melee combat with sword‑and‑shield mastery.

The launch also completes the game’s final two campaign Acts, bringing the story of Wraeclast to its conclusion while adding a massive amount of new content and changes.

Registration and Rewards

Players can register now at the official website to receive exclusive milestone rewards ahead of launch. The registration campaign runs until December 10, 2026 (PST), with community rewards unlocking as more players sign up, including exclusive effects and a pet.
