Physical Release for Persona 6?
According to a SEGA Japan title page, it is clearly indicated under the Platform area; there’s a note that says “Only physical copies of the PlayStation 5 version are available.” This also suggests the game could arrive in late 2027, aligning with speculation that development is nearing completion.
These days, it is quite tough to figure out what physical really means, especially when a “physical” edition could mean a code-in-a-box situation, similar to Grand Theft Auto VI. While that could be the case, we can remain hopeful that the physical edition will be a true disc release rather than a code‑in-a‑box.
There’s also the possibility of a production delay, which could push the game’s launch after 2028. All we can do now is wait for official confirmation from SEGA and Atlus on the release date and whether we are getting a physical release.
