Pawprint Studio has officially launched Aniimo on mobile devices. The free-to-play creature-catching open-world RPG is now available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, allowing players to take their adventures in Idyll wherever they go.
Mobile players will enjoy the same experience available on other platforms, thanks to full cross-platform play and cross-progression support.
Aniimo Brings Creature Collecting and Twining to Mobile
Set in the vibrant world of Idyll, Aniimo puts players in the role of Pathfinders tasked with exploring vast environments, uncovering mysteries, and befriending magical creatures known as Aniimo.
One of the game’s standout features is Twining, a unique mechanic that allows players to merge with their collected Aniimo. By doing so, Pathfinders gain access to each creature’s abilities, opening up new opportunities for combat, exploration, traversal, and puzzle solving.
At launch, players can discover and collect more than 200 Aniimo, featuring a variety of rarities and forms influenced by factors such as weather conditions and biome locations.
New Aniimo Join the Roster
Among the newest creatures introduced at launch are Squarrel and its evolution, Squashel. This energetic squirrel-like character utilizes rapid combo attacks and tail-based abilities while rolling across terrain with impressive speed.
Another addition is Sparkelf, a lively and enthusiastic creature that expands the growing roster available to players from day one.
Explore the Expansive World of Idyll
Idyll offers a large interactive open world filled with unique ecosystems, quests, puzzles, hidden mysteries, and opportunities for discovery. As players travel throughout the world, they’ll encounter creatures living in different environments, each contributing to the region’s ecosystem.
Players can also customize their own experience through the Homeland system. This feature allows Pathfinders to build and decorate personal spaces, cultivate resources, and spend time with their pets through various activities designed to strengthen their bond.
Team Up With Friends in Multiplayer Adventures
Aniimo also includes a variety of multiplayer features aimed at encouraging cooperation and exploration.
Players can use the Horn to request assistance from nearby adventurers, the Flute to invite friends to a location or discover fellow Pathfinders in the area, and the Come to Me feature to instantly summon allies to their position. Additionally, players can choose to follow other adventurers as they journey across Idyll together.
