Remedy Entertainment has announced that CONTROL Resonant has officially launched worldwide, marking the arrival of the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning supernatural action franchise.
Developed and published by Remedy Entertainment, the game is now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are scheduled to arrive on October 15, 2026.
Dylan Faden Takes Center Stage
Unlike the original game, which followed Jesse Faden, CONTROL Resonant puts players in the shoes of Dylan Faden as he confronts a paranatural threat spreading across a reality-warped Manhattan. Players will unlock supernatural abilities and master the various forms of the Aberrant, a shapeshifting melee weapon designed to tackle increasingly dangerous enemies and powerful bosses.
Apocalyptica’s “Upperhand” Powers the Opening Credits
To celebrate the launch, Finnish cello-metal legends Apocalyptica have contributed a brand-new song titled “Upperhand”, which accompanies the game’s opening credits and serves as an introduction to Dylan’s journey. The track is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming platforms.
Control Resonant x iam8bit Merchandise Collection Revealed
Remedy has once again partnered with iam8bit to release a collection of merchandise inspired by CONTROL Resonant. The lineup includes Corrupted Metro apparel, an Atlantis Cafรฉ Espresso Cup Set, Federal Bureau of Control propaganda posters, sticker packs, and magnet sets. Pre-orders are open until October 26, 2026, with shipping expected in Q1 2027.
