The Pokemon Company has announced that Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 2: Dazzling Decorations will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on December 9, 2026, bringing a range of new customization options, additional Pokemon, and fresh furniture items to the cozy sandbox experience.

Accessories Make Their Debut in Pokemon Pokopia

The headline feature of Pokemon Pokopia: Dazzling Decorations is the introduction of accessories. For the first time, players can outfit not only their in-game character but also many of the Pokemon that inhabit their town. From stylish sunglasses and bow ties to themed ribbons inspired by Pokemon like Sylveon, the update significantly expands customization possibilities.

The expansion will also introduce additional furniture pieces and new Pokemon to encounter, adding more variety to players looking to personalize their towns and grow their collection.

To access the DLC, players must install the free Version 3.0.0 update and complete several progression requirements in the base game, including rebuilding the Pokemon Center in Withered Wasteland.

Expansion Pass Includes Exclusive Bonuses

Players who purchase the Expansion Pass will receive access to exclusive Dynamic Ditto Print blocks and wallpaper recipes that can be crafted in-game.

Additionally, players who purchase the Expansion Pass by August 31, 2027 will receive a bonus code granting 30 Rare Pokemetal Ingots, which can be used for crafting and other in-game activities.

Apples to Applin Event Starts November 16

Alongside the DLC announcement, The Pokemon Company revealed a limited-time event titled Apples to Applin, running from November 16 through December 1. During the event, players can befriend Applin and collect Syrupy Apples that can be exchanged for themed furniture and decorations.

Players who create suitable habitats using the event items will also have opportunities to attract Flapple, Appletun, Dipplin, and Hydrapple to their towns.
