New Star Wars Game Coming From Amy Hennig And Skydance New Media
A new Star Wars game has been announced from Lucasfilm Games and Skydance New Media, the new studio helmed by writer and creative director for Uncharted 1 to 3 Amy Hennig. Hennig is back at work for the franchise after her previous effort was unfortunately canceled.
Details about the game are very scarce, and the only tidbit to go by is that it is a “richly cinematic action-adventure game featuring an original story.” Specifics like a title, release date, or even platforms have not been announced as of writing.

Hennig shares that “I’ve often described how seeing Star Wars in 1977 essentially rewired my 12-year-old brain, shaping my creative life and future indelibly. I’m elated to be working with Lucasfilm Games again to tell interactive stories in this galaxy that I love.”
This is not to be mistaken with the Marvel game that Skydance is also working on, which is supposed to be a “narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game, featuring a completely original story and take on the Marvel Universe.”
