During the recently concluded Netflix Geeked Week, the streaming giant revealed that Dragon Age: Absolution, a new standalone series that will premiere in December 2022.

Created in collaboration with BioWare, the show will be set in Tevinter and will feature a new cast of characters inspired by the lore of the series, including elves, mages, knights, Qunari, Red Templars, demons, and others.

Mairghread Scott will serve as showrunner and will be produced by Red Dog Culture House.
