SEGA and Atlus have published a new Persona 3 Reload trailer, detailing the contents players can expect from the third wave of the expansion pass.

Wave 1 of the Persona 3 Reload expansion pass brought the Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal EX BGM Sets, while the recent release of Wave 2 introduces the Velvet Costume & BGM Set. Wave 3, launching on September 10, will add Episode Aigis -The Answer- to the game.

After getting together in Iwatodai Dorm before its closure, the members of SEES find themselves trapped in a never-ending loop, forced to relive the events of March 31st. The mystery deepens with the appearance of Metis—a mechanical girl claiming to be Aigis’s little sister—and the Abyss of Time, a mysterious dimension lurking beneath the dorm. Together, they must confront their pasts, uncover the truth, and make some tough choices.

Episode Aigis, an epilogue to Persona 3 told from Aigis’s perspective as she awakens to the power of the wild card, is coming soon. Unravel one final mystery tied to the Dark Hour and relive its emotional conclusion with Reload’s gorgeous visuals, quality-of-life gameplay improvements, Theurgy skills, and other new features.

Aigis (voiced by Maaya Sakamoto)

An anti-Shadow weapon equipped with a heart that can harness Persona abilities. Aigis develops human
emotions after fighting alongside SEES and living with them. In Episode Aigis, she gains the power of the wild card—the ability to wield multiple Personas—as she and Metis face a new threat in the Abyss of Time.

Her original Persona, Athena, morphs into Orpheus.

Metis (voiced by Chiwa Saito)

A mechanical girl who claims to be Aigis’s younger sister. When the members of SEES find themselves trapped in a time loop, Metis appears and guides them to the Abyss of Time beneath Iwatodai Dorm.

Her Persona, Psyche, specializes in Wind and Ice attacks as well as dealing physical damage.

Here are the various gameplay improvements available in Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis -The Answer-:

• New Theurgy Skills: Aigis has new Theurgy skills and access to some of the protagonist’s skills. Use them to battle powerful Shadows!
• Linked Episodes: While exploring the Abyss of Time, find items to give to party members. These items can unlock new Linked Episodes, deepening Aigis’s bonds with SEES members.
• New Difficulty Mode: Wave 3 introduces Persona 3 Reload’s fifth and toughest difficulty level, Heartless, for extreme challenges.
• Persona Compendium: In Episode Aigis, carry over save data from the main story and summon registered Personas. Note: On Heartless mode, you can’t transfer the Persona Compendium and can only summon Personas at or below Aigis’s level.
• New Battle Theme: Episode Aigis’s soundtrack, produced by Atsushi Kitajo and Ryota Kozuka from the ATLUS Sound Team, features rerecorded tracks and remixed songs. Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice contribute vocals to the opening song and battle theme.
