SEGA has announced that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is launching on Steam in January 2025, with a free open beta available to play now until December 18, 2025.

Announced last month, PC gamers can finally experience Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. on Steam next year! With Rollback Netcode and adjustments 13 years in the making, it’s a great time to get into Virtua Fighter with its big new project entering development by SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.

Pre-orders will receive SEGA Hardware Customization items where you can customize your characters with consoles from the past, including the Genesis (Mega Drive), Saturn, and Dreamcast!

To celebrate 30 years of Virtua Fighter, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. will receive a 30th Anniversary Edition, which will include swimsuit costumes for the characters, a must-see collection of pre-production materials, a soundtrack album, 30th anniversary wallpaper set, 30th anniversary celebration ranking titles, Virtua Fighter Legendary Pack DLC, and Yakuza series collaboration pack DLC.

Both the standard edition and 30th annivesary edition will be on sale for 20% off until February 3rd, 2025.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. makes its way to Steam on January 28, 2025.
