Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Once upon a Katamari is now available on PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series. It will be available on October 24 for PC via Steam.

Fourteen years after their last game, The King of All Cosmos and The Prince are back in the latest entry in the Katamari Damacy series. It will be up to players once more to help The Prince restore the stars to the heavens after the mighty King of All Cosmos accidentally destroyed the Earth.

Once Upon a Katamari Overview

In Once Upon A KATAMARI, players will experience the series like never before, on a journey across time through the Jurassic Period, the Ice Age, historic Japan, and more, with a new competitive multiplayer mode. The game’s memorable music returns with a new soundtrack, new customization options, and fun power-ups, such as the magnet to pull in nearby items.

Players can choose to play as The Prince or any of the 68 cousins, all of whom can be customized with different colors and facial features. The customised characters will stand out in KatamariBall, a new four-player competitive mode where players attempt to roll the largest Katamari and convert it into points within a limited time. KatamariBall will support both online multiplayer and offline play against CPU opponents.
