HoYoverse has officially revealed that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6, titled Encore for an Old Dream, will launch on February 6, 2026. This update serves as an interlude after Season 2’s climax, bringing players back to Sixth Street during New Eridu’s annual Gilded Carrot Day festivities.

The highlight of the update is the debut of the idol group Angels of Delusion, introducing two new agents: Sunna and Aria. Alongside their arrival, players can expect new events, festive rewards, and a chance to share in a massive 4 billion Polychrome prize pool.

New Agents: Sunna and Aria

Zenless Zone Zero players can expect two new playable characters to recruit, Sunna and Aria.

• Sunna (S-Rank Physical Support) empowers teammates with buffs and heavy burst damage using her oversized hammer. Her companion Bubblegum marks enemies with Cat’s Gaze, detonating for extra damage and squad-wide Attack boosts.
• Aria (Ether Anomaly agent) is the group’s lead vocalist, wielding two forms, construct and idol projection, to deliver high burst damage against enemies afflicted with Attribute Anomalies.
• Supporting them is Bangboo Biggest Fan, a devoted mascot who restores HP and boosts Attack when multiple Angels of Delusion members are present.

Both Sunna and Aria will receive new outfits, with Aria’s costume featuring a unique dual-form design. Returning agents Yixuan and Yuzuha will also appear in rerun banners.

Events, Rewards, and Gameplay Additions

The centerpiece event of Zenless Zone Zero 2.6, A Harmony of Delusions, lets players step into the role of backstage staff managing the idol group through rhythm-based gameplay and expanded Marcel Adventure maps.
