Street Fighter 6 Welcomes Yasmine on August 3
In a nutshell
- New fighter Yasmine joins Street Fighter 6 on August 3, representing the Philippines with Eskrima martial arts.
- Features unique rushdown gameplay with Bayani Mode and powerful knife‑based combos.
- Playable early at Evo Las Vegas 2026 before her official release.
Capcom has revealed Yasmine as the first fighter of Street Fighter 6 Year 4, arriving on August 3, 2026. Hailing from the Philippines, Yasmine brings Eskrima, the country’s national martial art, into the spotlight, wielding her blade with speed and precision.
She joins alongside other Street Fighter 6 Year 4 additions: Arjun, Tifa from Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Bosch from World Tour.
Gameplay and Bayani Mode
Yasmine’s journey into combat began under the guidance of her Lolo, training alongside her Kuya. At first, her motivation was just to spend more time with her brother. But when he mysteriously disappeared, her drive to fight faded, leaving her lost and glued to endless doomscrolling on FooTube.
Yasmine’s fighting style emphasizes rushdown tactics, confusing opponents with swift movement before striking with her knife. Her signature Bayani Mode powers up attacks like Alon and Talim ng Hangin, offering devastating combos and mix‑ups.
All of her moves are also named in a very Filipino fashion:
- Daloy ng Tubig – quick forward-moving knife attack
- Alon – multi-slice hit
- Talim ng Hangin – forward spin and knife sweep
- Mukha ng Langit – front flip with two follow-up attacks
- Ulan – upside-down spinning attack
- Lipad ng Agila – kicking into the air in a flurry of hits
- Pangil sa Likuran – projectile move that swirls around like a boomerang
- Hiwa ng Kalangitan – Level 1 Super Art where she kicks her opponent in the air, then slams them back down
- Nakatagong Lakas – Level 2 Super Art where she focuses her energy, and for a limited time, she can use boosted special moves without leaving Bayani Mode
- Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita – Level 3 Super Art where she spins an opponent and gathers energy before pulverizing them in an all-out attack.

Early Access at Evo Las Vegas
Fans won’t have to wait until August to try her out because Yasmine will be playable at Evo Las Vegas from June 26–28, 2026. Alongside her release, Capcom will roll out Street Fighter 6 Year 4 battle adjustments, new costumes, and passes that unlock additional content.
