Warframe’s next era begins with the full reveal of Warframe: Tau, the game’s next major Narrative Chapter launching later this year across all platforms.

Warframe: Tau – A New Star Chart and Narrative Chapter

Warframe’s next major update takes players beyond the Origin System and into the Tau System, a brand-new Star Chart filled with Sentient life, criminal factions, and noir-inspired environments.

Key highlights include:

• Main Quest: Tau – Explore the Sentient ring city of Fornax, where constant black rain fuels a gritty underworld ruled by The Hunra, voiced by Jonathan Bullock. Players will uncover the truth behind Tau’s transformation and confront the criminal empire built on the addictive substance Bloom.
• New Warframe: Brysko – A Sentient Warframe revived by Albrecht Entrati, Brysko features an internal monologue voiced by Matthew Mercer. His kit includes brass knuckles Rain & Shine, explosive playing cards, and the Exalted revolver Corecracker.
• Portau Card Mini-Game – Warframe’s first-ever card game, inspired by poker and popular within Fornax’s gambling dens.
• New Enemy Faction: Fornax Drowners – A deadly Sentient faction evolved differently from those in the Origin System.
• New Environment: Fornax Metropolis – High-end casinos, grimy docks, and slums create a noir cityscape unlike anything seen in Warframe.
• New Original Music – “View From the Top,” a noir trip-hop track sung by Jill Harris, featured in the Tau gameplay demo.

• Mesa Heirloom Collection (Available Today) – A stylish new cosmetic set featuring a toggleable poncho.
• Amir’s Shockwave (August) – A Nightwave remix hosted by Protoframe Amir (Volt), featuring Warframe: 1999-themed cosmetics and a new mini-role-playing adventure with The Hex crew.
• Iceblade of Narin & Citrine Prime Access (Fall 2026) – Introducing the 66th Warframe, a female ice-themed frame, plus a Banshee rework, deluxe skins, and Citrine Prime’s full accessory lineup. More details will be shared during the September Devstream in Seoul.
