The headline feature of the current-generation release is support for 60 FPS gameplay on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. While most gameplay and real-time cutscenes now run at 60 FPS, some pre-rendered cinematic sequences remain capped at 30 FPS. Alongside the performance boost, the update introduces a range of technical enhancements aimed at improving the overall experience. Players can expect fixes to story mission progression, improvements to Trophy and Achievement tracking, and various visual upgrades throughout the game world.
The update also addresses several reported instances where players could become stuck during campaign and DLC missions. AI and NPC behavior have also been improved, while fixes targeting driving, combat encounters, and weapon-related issues help deliver a smoother experience overall. Visual improvements include better texture rendering, lighting consistency, vegetation streaming, and reduced pop-in while exploring New Bordeaux. The update also improves subtitle presentation, objective markers, menus, and other user interface elements
