Where the Seeds Fall, the debut title from Cygames’ newly established CygamesEdge brand, is now available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The action-adventure title launches today, November 5, and marks the first release under the publisher’s new initiative focused on smaller-scale and experimental projects.

Descend Into a World on the Brink

Where the Seeds Fall takes place in a world devastated by a phenomenon known as Blight, forcing humanity to build new settlements atop the branches of a massive World Tree. Players take control of a man who has lost everything and unexpectedly encounters a mysterious “Fell Child,” a figure viewed as a harbinger of disaster. Seeing similarities between the child and his lost daughter, he decides to escort her to the surface world despite direct orders not to do so.

The adventure challenges players to descend through the World Tree while navigating collapsing platforms, hazardous environments, and powerful winds in a journey centered on survival and discovery.

A Short but Dense Adventure

According to Cygames, the game’s main story is designed as a tightly paced experience that can be completed in approximately three hours. However, the journey doesn’t end there, as players can unlock additional high-difficulty stages and time trial challenges after completing the campaign.
