Amidst all the delays being announced, any actual development news is certainly welcome at this point. For a highly anticipated title like Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, any update about the game is certainly good!

It’s not much to go by, but developers Ninja Theory have shown a cinematic lighting experiment on the upcoming Xbox exclusive via their Twitter Page, and its looking fantastic.

With The Medium as the only true next-gen exclusive for the Xbox, news like this is a breath of fresh air. It will be running on Unreal Engine 5 and hopefully we’ll learn more as summer gets closer, as the last time we received news about this IP was during the Xbox Showcase. Ninja Theory have made a great game out of it with limited resources before, so it’ll be something to look out for as they’ve since become an Xbox first party studio.
