The information drip is coming in at a slower than usual pace for NBA 2K22, but today we have more details about how Seasons will work in the game, and it is looking like a pretty big change from the previous versions.

Seasons, for the first time in the series, will be available across MyCareer, MyTeam, and The W Online. Players will be able to level up in the City, Neighborhood, and more to redeem rewards at no additional cost after reaching each new Seasons level.

You’ll get to unlock various rewards as you level up through the season, with the likes of Roller Skates at level 30 and Go-Karts at level 40, offering players a great way to move around the City during MyCareer. Other rewards will be available across other modes.

Players will also get to experience new music through “First Fridays” which will be introduced in 2K22, where the soundtrack of the game will evolve, introducing new music and artists as the season goes by.

NBA 2K22 will release on September 10 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
