Revealed early this year, Netflix had announced that one of the most iconic video game heroines, Lara Croft, will be making her way to the Netflix library as an animated series.

While details were scarce then, Netflix has now revealed that Hayley Atwell, famous in her roles as Peggy Carter from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be the voice of Lara Croft.

As announced by Netflix, the upcoming anime series from Powerhouse Animation will be a continuation of the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy, which featured fantastic titles that completely reimagined the game and proved to be a success.

In the game, Lara Croft was voiced by Camilla Luddington, who is also known for her role as Josephine Wilson in Grey’s Anatomy.

The Tomb Raider animated series has no specified release date yet.
