Battlefield 2042 slightly delayed to November

Battlefield 2042 has been delayed to November 19, 2021 as officially announced by EA. The new date, which is less than a month from its original release of October 22, is due to “unforeseen challenges” caused by the Pandemic.

Updates about the open beta will be given later this month.

Quite a number of big titles have already been delayed to 2022 and if certain rumors are proven true, EA’s Battlefield 2042 could be next.

Multiple sources ranging from Jeff Grubb to Tom Henderson, insiders will a pretty reliable track record, have shared about hearing of a delay in one form or the other, ranging from several weeks up to 2022 even. Until EA releases an official statement, it is always wise to take these with a grain of salt.

EA has declined to comment about the delay, Eurogamer states.

If there is no delay, gamers can expect the latest installment in the long-running franchise to release on October 22, 2021.
