CD Projekt Red confirms Cyberpunk 2077 free DLC
In true CD Projekt Red fashion, the developers have confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting free DLC along with the usual paid DLC as part of their content roadmap.
When asked by Twitter user NachoFireX, CDPR replies not with a proper and formal confirmation, but with a damn kool-aid gif file. Hey, at least it’s a yes!
During a Polish Investor Q&A last April as reported by VGC, it was also confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will also be receiving “no less DLC than The Witcher 3 had”, which means that the upcoming title will be at parity or even have more DLC that what the Witcher 3 received. In hindsight, The Witcher 3 had one of the most robust content roadmaps that featured the 2 massively fantastic expansions in “Hearts of Stone” and “Blood and Wine”. Cyberpunk 2077 getting the same treatment will only mean good things for the game and for the fans.
On top of this, Cyberpunk 2077 will also be receiving a robust next-gen upgrade for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X which will release next year.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled for a November 19 release date for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with next-gen versions to follow.
