Dying Light 2 developer update is a mixed bag of apology, humor, and a 2021 release window

2021, huh.

Dying Light 2 developer Techland released their developer update to much fanfare: it starts out with a Mean Tweets segment where the executive board read angry tweets from fans, a “heartfelt apology” akin to Cyberpunk 2077‘s apology video, and finally a sizzle reel with a reassurance that the game will release on 2021.

All that in a 2 minute 47 second video. Watch it for yourself below:

Dying Light 2 will release this year on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the PC. Whether or not that comes to fruition is another discussion, but it’s good to finally hear some updates from the team over at Techland.
