A LOT of trailers.

500 days after its last Nintendo Direct back in September 4, 2019, a much anticipated 50-minute Nintendo Direct event happened today, showcasing many of the upcoming games for Nintendo Switch for Summer 2021. In a content rich marathon of trailers, I appreciated what Nintendo has to offer when the speculation was at least 20 minutes of Super Smash content. After the announcement of Pyra and Mythra for Smash Bros Ultimate, it quickly got real.

Some of the standouts were Mario Golf, Square Enix’s tactical strategy RPG Project: Triangle Strategy, and Splatoon 3. Unfortunately, no Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 annoucements, but we did get a Skyward Sword HD and themed joy cons to appease the thirsty fans. I’m personally happy they finally revealed the release date of No More Heroes 3 and finally unveiled a physical copy of Hades.

Without further ado, here are the rest of the announcements from the mammoth Nintendo Direct:

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout (Summer 2021)
