Ghostwire: Tokyo delayed to early 2022

Sad news for those looking forward to this title.

Ghostwire: Tokyo, the upcoming PlayStation 5 console exclusive from Tango Gameworks, has been delayed to early 2022.

“… we’re focused on protecting the health of everyone at Tango. Our new release window will give us time to bring the world of Ghostwire to life as we’ve always envisioned it.” says a statement from the developers. The team at Tango Gameworks is fully committed to delivering the best possible experience, but will have to do so while keeping the health and safety of their employees as a priority.

On one hand, it does suck that some of the games we are anticipating the most, like God of War Ragnarok, have been delayed to next year. More importantly, it’s great to see these studios putting the welfare of their employees first in the midst of the pandemic.

In the mean time, there’s plenty of games to look forward to in July alone!
