Gotham Knights delayed to 2022

Holy delay, Batman!

Delays have been a common occurrence these days, and sadly, the next victim on the list is Warner Bros. Gotham Knights, WB Montreal’s latest game.

As shared by their social media accounts, the title will now have a release window of 2022, with no specific month mentioned. The developers are quoted with saying that they are “giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience.” Whether it be COVID related or not, a delay would be the most logical choice to improve the upcoming game rather than releasing an unfinished one.

WB Montreal promises to show more about Gotham Knights in the coming months, so we’ll be waiting for more news about it when they’re ready.

Gotham Knights is an open-world action RPG that takes place in a city that is without Batman, and it is up to Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin to take on what could possibly be the Court of Owls. To refresh yourself on the game, check out the trailer below:

Gotham Knights is now scheduled for a 2022 release.
