After numerous leaks and reports, Rockstar has finally and officially announced Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be launching later this year for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC, with iOS and Android versions to follow in the first half of 2022.

The Definitive Edition commemorates the 20th anniversary of GTA III and will contain Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas, and will feature “across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals.” Rockstar will be revealing more details about the collection in the weeks to come.

Rockstar also mentioned that it will remove existing digital versions from digital stores starting next week, so if you’ve been itching to buy those, now is your last chance.

Will you be getting this definitive edition when it launches later this year?
