Horizon Forbidden West Gets New Game+, Ultra Hard Difficulty, and More in Huge Update

While Horizon Call of the Mountain took the spotlight in terms of Horizon updates during the recently concluded State of Play, Guerrilla Games snuck in a small announcement for Horizon Forbidden West, announcing a major update that adds a bunch of new features to the game.

As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, the game will be getting the following updates starting today:

  • New Game+
  • Ultra Hard Difficulty
  • Transmog – Allows players to customize the cosmetics of their equipped outfit
  • Skill points reset
  • New trophies connected to NG+ and Ultra Hard Difficulty

Additionally, there’s also a new Herbalist vendor that sells animal parts along with improved visual fidelity of the PS5 performance mode using revamped anti-aliasing. An upcoming patch will also add VRR support and an additional 40fps mode.
