Sony has released a new video entitled “New Worlds to Explore”, highlighting games such as Ratchet & Clank, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, and Returnal among others. Nothing really “new”, right? Sure, although there’s a little tidbit in the video that shows the possibility of all these titles to come in 2021, making the first year of the PS5 a rather strong one in terms of exclusive titles.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls: Available Nov 12, 2020. Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal: Anticipated first half 2021. Horizon Forbidden West: Anticipated second half 2021.

That’s a pretty stacked lineup of various titles within the first year alone. And when you consider the possibility of God of War Ragnarok and Final Fantasy XVI possibly coming in on 2021 as well, year one for the PlayStation 5 makes for a compelling case to jump into the next-generation.
