Rainbow Six Extraction

Release Date: January 20, 2022
Platform: PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC

Say what you will about Ubisoft’s rebranding of the Tom Clancy property, but this is an interesting re-imagining of the Rainbow Six franchise. Sure, it is still a tactical shooter, but it’s closer to Back4Blood than Rainbow Six when you’re not fighting other human operatives, but aliens that infect humans.

Windjammers 2

Release Date: January 20, 2022
Platform: Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series
A pong style “fighting game” featuring 10 different Windjammers duke it out for supremacy in this fun-looking sequel featuring new courts and crazy 16-bit action. The retro feel is really working out for it as it appears to be something we must’ve played between the 16-bit and 32-bit era and it’s looking kinda rad.

Ghostrunner Project_Hel (Expansion)

Release Date: January 27, 2022
Platform: Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series
A full blown Ghostrunner expansion releases this month following a free Holiday Cosmetic Skin Expansion from December. It was supposed to be a smaller DLC, but now this full expansion puts you in the shoes of Hel, one of the bosses from a previous game. More combat-oriented, they can survive an additional attack compared to Ghostrunner.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Release Date: January 28, 2022
Platform: Nintendo Switch
Pokemon’s answer to Monster Hunter finally comes underway with Pokemon Arceus, a re-envisioning of the series with a more open world aspect. Instead of hunting down these pokemon, we’re gonna catch them all and be the very best. You know the drill.

Release Date: January 28, 2022
Platform: PS5

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collects the PS4 Uncharted series from A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy into a PS5 remaster package.
