It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard news about the game since it was revealed in March last year. A recent update reveals that the game will be getting PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC versions on top of the PlayStation 4 version from before. It is currently scheduled to release this year in Japan.

According to Gematsu, the latest issue of Weekly Jump Magazine reveals this information. Additionally, the information shows that the game will have a Story and Tag Battle mode, which let’s you play as various characters from the Anime.

A Twitter user named @DbsHype also posted what seems to be the leaked images from the issue, which features new screenshots from the game, although there’s no way to verify whether the image is valid, so take it with a grain of salt.

More information about the game is set to be revealed in the succeeding issue of Weekly Jump, so expect some news very soon.

Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Kepputan will be published by Aniplex, Sony’s anime and music production company, and developed by CyberConnect2, known for their work on Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.

In the mean time, you can check out the trailer released from last year.

When he's not casually preparing a costume for the next convention, researching on the latest anime titles every season, or singing anime/game songs to just let out, Ricki finds his way back to his first and prized hobby: Gaming. Ricki is more of an offline single-player console gamer than online and multiplayer competitor but as long as there's interesting stories, gameplay, and characters (for his cosplay ideas), expect him to be right there in the thick of things.
