As part of the leak that saw some announcements revealed hours before the show, Nintendo has officially announced Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which is the first 3D adventure for our hungry little friend that is slated for a Spring 2022 release.

It might seem weird to compare it to The Last of Us, but an announcement trailer shows our hero wandering around in what can be described as a post-apocalyptic setting similar to the aforementioned title, using his trademark abilities to overcome hostile inhabitants and challenges all wrapped up in a cutesy package.
