Rumored Metal Gear Solid Remasters ‘100% True’ Claims Leaker

Metal Gear Solid remaster rumors have picked up steam again recently thanks to a report that Konami will be announcing a new game from a series “loved around the world.”

The report comes from VGC, which claims that a Tokyo Game Show announcement 2022 will reveal a new game, although it is unlikely to come from Konami’s biggest classic franchises. In the same report, it was reiterated that remasters of Metal Gear Solid titles are indeed in the works.

Dusk Golem, a mostly reliable leaker, has chimed in and says that the reports about Metal Gear are 100% true. Specifically, Metal Gear Solid 1-3 will be receiving the remastered treatment and the plan is to “release the three remasters seperately, but also together as a collection.”

When asked what platforms it would be released on, Dusk Golem provided a simple answer – “pretty much everything.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the revival of Metal Gear, but it is quite reassuring to know that it is still in the works if the reports are to be believed. These Solid Snake adventures are some of the best in the series and it would be great to relive them all again with improved visuals.

In any case, we won’t have to wait for too long as Tokyo Game Show is just around the corner.

Would you be interested to get a remastered version of Metal Gear Solid 1-3?
