During the recently concluded 505 Games Showcase, a world-first premiere was shared just as the show was ending to reveal Miasma Chronicles, planned for a 2023 release on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.

From the acclaimed studio that brought you Mutant Year Zero, The Bearded Ladies shared a sneak peek at their latest project, which is a game that focuses on the journey of 2 brothers in their goal to find their missing mother. As can be seen in the trailer, the world is grim and infested with a phenomenon known as the “Miasma”.

The 2 main protagonists are Elvis Ashlee (played by Daniel Amerman) and older brother Diggs (played by Byron Marc Newsome). The game is similar in concept to Mutant Year Zero but will expand on many elements that fans enjoyed like world-building and interesting characters.

The developers are pushing for a lot more detail and more narrative systems, with efforts to make the game playable by a wider audience but still keeping their core philosophies intact.
